I have advised both singularly and jointly in matters relating to damaged telecommunication and electricity cables for the benefit of mediations. I have attended mediations where I have advised the mediator on issues of liability relating to electricity transmission cables.

Western Power Distribution (South Wales) plc v Morgan Est plc & Vinci Construction Grands Projects S.A. & Menard Soltraitement Limited.

Western Power Distribution (South Wales) plc - v - Morgan Vinci Limited & Cambrian Plant Hire Limited.

In both instances these claims related to a damaged 132,000 volt fluid cables where the at risk value was in the region of £500k.

British Telecommunications plc - v - National Grid Plc (Defendant and Part 20 Claimant) and Morrison Utility Services Limited (Part 20 Defendant).

This claim related to damage to an optic fibre cable.
